About Rolando

Austin-based sales and customer experience professional who enjoys connecting with people, solving problems, and figuring out how to make things work a little better than they did before.

Professionally, my background has taken me across technology sales, project management, customer success, team leadership, and the multifamily industry. I currently work in technology sales, where I manage customer relationships, uncover business needs, develop strategic account plans, and help organizations find the right technology solutions for their goals.

Before moving into sales, I worked in project management and people leadership, managing a team of project managers responsible for technology implementations across the country. That experience taught me a lot about communication, organization, leadership, and staying calm when there are a lot of moving pieces.

One thing that has stayed consistent throughout my career is that I genuinely enjoy learning. Whether I’m exploring a new technology, improving a process, learning how to build and manage content in WordPress, or experimenting with AI tools to work more strategically, I’m usually looking for a way to add another skill to my toolbox.

Outside of Work

Outside of my professional life, I love traveling and experiencing new places, food, music, and culture. Some of my favorite trips have taken me throughout Mexico, Australia, and different parts of the United States, and there are always a few more destinations on my list.

I’m also the kind of person who likes figuring things out myself. That can mean troubleshooting technology, working on my car, fixing something around the house, planning an overly detailed vacation itinerary, or spending far too much time researching the best way to do something before actually doing it.

At home, life also includes two pugs who provide plenty of entertainment and occasionally remind me that they are actually the ones in charge.

What Matters to Me

I value curiosity, reliability, good communication, and treating people well. I enjoy being around people who can work hard without taking themselves too seriously, and I try to bring that same balance into both my professional and personal life.

I’m always interested in what comes next — whether that means taking on a new challenge, learning something completely unfamiliar, traveling somewhere new, or simply finding a better way to do something I already know.
